2016 Lagos Comic Convention

Lagos Comic Convention (Comic-Con) is holding on the 17th of September, and is themed "Creative Skills as Tools for Economic Diversification", it will be taking place at the NECA house in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State. Over 5,000 people are expected to attend this nerd-lovin' event. 
It is organized by Ayodele Elegba, Austine Osas of MustardSeed Investment Limited/Spoof Animation and Justin Irabor of Hotels.ng. 
Justin Irabor is part of the digital marketing team at Hotels.ng and he is pleased to be working with the Lagos Comic-Con. He is an active comic book fan himself - as his Instagram and comic strip website will show. 
The Lagos Comic Con is open to everyone

Nancy Japheth wins Miss Health North West

It was a night of galore at the popular Ladi Kwali hall of Sheraton hotels for Abuja residents as 20 years old Miss Nancy Japheth emerged as the 2016 Miss Health North West.
Queen Nancy Japheth contested alongside 30 other beautiful and intelligent young ladies for Miss Health North West  to  emerge as the crowned queen represented Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), she talked in details why FGM is an evil and the harms caused by FGM.
Queen Nancy Japheth is a regional queen of Miss Health Beauty Pageant and she is representing the North West Region of Nigeria, she is another advocate for Female Genital Mutilation in Nigeria.

Premier Leage clubs' transfer deals in the 2016/2017 Transfer Market

The transfer window for the 2016/2017 season officially closed on Wednesday 28th of August 2016 at exactly 11pm, but a window of grace was opened to clubs who sent a form to the Premier League between the hours of 9pm and 11pm.
Notable of the deadline day transfer was the return of David Luiz from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to Chelsea and the transfer of French international Moussa Sissoko from championship side Newcastle for a fee of £30 million.
Premier league clubs spent over the £1 billion over the course of the transfer window.
