French Side Nantes have paid
tribute to Emiliano Raúl Sala before their league game against AS Saint-Etienne
on Wednesday Evening.
The 28-year-old Argentine Striker was in a plane
which went missing over the English
Channel last week on his way to Cardiff to complete his £15million club record move
to Cardiff city.
Nantes in their first game
without Sala paid tribute with a gigantic centre-circle mural of the missing
footballer before fans made use of yellow and green cards to spell out his name
in the stands and also laid flowers outside of the Stade de la Beaujoire -
Louis Fonteneau before the kick-off.
The game was paused in the tenth
minute in honour of the argentine forward, this emotional scenes brought tears
to Nantes manager Vahid Halilhodzic.
