Manny Pacquiao 'agrees deal' to fight Floyd Mayweather
Manny Pacquiao has signed off on all points for a $250 million superfight this year and is now awaiting Floyd Mayweather’s agreement, according to the Filipino's promoter, Bob Arum.
Arum, the Top Rank chief executive officer, said on Wednesday night: “It’s something that boxing has to be ashamed of if a fight like this never happens. I think that it will get done. When people write the history of boxing in our era 20 or 30 years down the line, they will blame everybody connected with the fight for the fact it didn’t happen. They’ll blame everybody.
“We are going to push this to the end. We’re not going to let them off the hook. We want this fight to happen. The public wants it. It’s time to stop f------ around. He needs to get some cojones. Even if its a difficult fight to accept for him, he needs to take it and do the best that he can.
