Shara Proctor has become the first British woman to jump over seven metres as she landed herself a long jump silver at the World Championships in Beijing.
The Anguilla-born 26-year-old who shone with a string of impressive jumps at the Bird's Nest, and the athlete's third-round effort of 7.07 metres propelled her into the lead, but was denied by Tianna Bartoletta who had a world leading 7.14m.
